I could not resist this beauty. It was so nice looking I had fears… which turned out to be true… the frame had broken in the interior that prevented proper placement of the platen but after some effort I got some impressions… not to mention great joy and internal smiles!
Woke up this morning laughing… even if the dream was not that funny. So I decided to just fill the day in a mellow mood… setting a tone as they say.
Power went out… got out my manual typewriter and just typed some thoughts!
I was walking to my car and saw movement… it was small and ugly. It was a living armadillo…. I’ve only seen them laying flat and in the middle of a road.
I was just about to go and ride my bike… but I turned around and got my camera.
If mother’s day brings out our best… it should be extended to cover every day. We exist because of a mother…. and every day we breath and think is a day blessed because of what they gave to us and taught us… “love”
The good news/bad news… local news reports over 50 folks received IRS final notice calls in my area…
Better news, I went out side and watch the stars come out… in the low light nothing at first; then as the sky’s darken a spot appears… then another “stars”… free fun and wonder…
I have spent most of the day contacting the IRS, FTC and Inspector General’s Office reporting on what I believe to be an attempt by someone claiming to be from the IRS to get me to pay money I do not owe.
If you receive a recording claiming “Final IRS notice” and you can get to a real person right away (red flag!!!)… I called various Government services and if it takes over an hour to get to a real person… then you are dealing with an actual government entity.
I also doubt the real IRS will hang-up on you when you ask for the correct spelling/contact number of the person you are talking to….
Its the month of May… which is the month I move into bicycle rides that get longer and longer and over 200 for the month.
All kinds of words appear when you sit down to type…
Some times I just want a Jay’s… (bet you can’t eat just one)… shipping is high but a couple of years go by and I buy. This week my order was damaged in transit. This morning I was told I would get a refund and my order re-sent for free. Some-times good does come when you least expect…
