I was walking to my car and saw movement… it was small and ugly. It was a living armadillo…. I’ve only seen them laying flat and in the middle of a road.
I was just about to go and ride my bike… but I turned around and got my camera.
A “Hoover Hog” in my yard…
To my eye it’s a beautiful animal! Never seen one in person, I think.

Oh the armadillo. An ever present danger to my early morning run where I live. If I here them squeaking I know I better look out for a moving rock in my path.
