A new car…. at least for me is a commitment of 7-10 years. I look to what and where I will be on the road into my early 70’s and I find I still think to going along back roads and far off places to see the wonders of America!
I dislike one word answers…. it assumes that the meaning of that “1” word is the same for everyone. “Friend” “Love” “Faith” might get in the ball park but is it Wrigley Field or Yankee Stadium?
You can search the internet, read all about trails and be told how short and easy some trails can be. Then you get there and find the short easy trek described as moderate to steep and equal to going up 8 flights of stairs…
Its always great to receive feedback that breaks my mindset outside of the echo chamber of my own thoughts. Expands my worldview and perspectives.
The good news/bad news… local news reports over 50 folks received IRS final notice calls in my area…
Better news, I went out side and watch the stars come out… in the low light nothing at first; then as the sky’s darken a spot appears… then another “stars”… free fun and wonder…

Today I found a Underwood Touchmaster Five for $5.00… when I started the day I was looking at an Olivetti M40 for $198.00.
If the Olivetti was going for $40.00 I might have gone a different way. Things change… and I like to keep my change.
