108 year old typewriter… and once I start typing it just feels good.
In the net…
They call it the “internet”… but sometimes I feel like a fish caught in a net. I go to find out information and feel that more information about me is being captured with each search and article I see and read. And after review my life would be PG.

Bicycle riding update….
The miles are starting to add up… 300 for the month and 800 for the year. I will be ready for Iowa in July.
I double down for “understanding and peace”…
There is so much about the world I do not understand. Lots of things people do and say is beyond my ability to accept… but with time perhaps understanding and acceptance will come. We just need to give others more time… not take away a life-time… there is no chance of change in that.
What makes someone great?
Three decades after he lost his voice… lost his natural grace… needed help to feed himself… he still was able to project grace and strength. An entire life lived determines greatness… not a short time in a ring!
1937 Underwood Noiseless (Standard)… built like a tank!
There was nothing in the box but the typewriter… not a single bit of cushioning. About a foot of empty space… but it arrived without damage. They really built this to last. Since it sold for $21.00… I assume the shipper did not value it…

Put in a easy 20 today… on the same bike last week 15 miles seemed a strain.
$7.99 for a 1959 Smith-Corona Secretarial
There are still great wonderful values out there. Full size, working; even a useable ribbon and only $7.99… At a higher price I would have skipped this model; but now I say it’s a quality machine.
