My favorite bicycle riding song…

The Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa has taught me many things.  One of which is the theme for a bicycle team called “Team Rawhide Riders” a fixture on the ride since 1982… they have special lyrics for the Rawhide theme and today as I rode my bike… the lyrics kept going in my head like wheels on the road… over and over again.

A foolish thing… Cap(ital) thoughts…

They use to say that politics was all about comprise.  The same can be said for typewriters when they are out of alignment.  If you work together you can get better results by going to one’s strengths.  Something learned from a 1913 Royal 5.  Just one way to get everyone on the same page.

Gee!

Tennessee Typer…

Buy a typewriter and you may get interested in the people who used it.

Tennessee William’s work is so famous that shouting out “Stella!” will get a reaction.  As well as saying: “I’ve always depending on the kindness of strangers”… even if you have never read his plays or gone to seen one. (Of course shouting out: “Bob” will get a reaction as well…)
