This 1954 Studio 44 just improves with use. Now that its starting to loosen up… it becomes hard to move on to another. At first it did not strike me as that good of a typewriter but with each use my view shifts and now it is one of the special ones.
It was jeep’s blues… the duke… Johnny Hodges… American Hustle… who would have thought it. It was “Live from Newport” (1956) for a movie set in 1978. I did get a little picky when they set the needle down on the record and Jeep’s Blues was the third song down on side B and not the first… but so what. It was the Duke…
By 1972 the Sperry Rand Remington 24 had a all plastic body… and to my amazement types great.
Another day to type another day full of joy.
And being left handed means I’m in my right mind for thinking.
