Remounted… Demountable…. excellent!
I needed to reverse the ribbon on my Demountable… which meant lifting up and taking off the frame; I moved something a fraction of a inch and the 87 year Demountable acts like a teenager… it is quick… has a light touch… wow!!!
Wisconsin typewriter… Demountable
Say Wisconsin… I think Dells! This regional gem is fun to use and to look at. Like Wisconsin cheese you develop a taste for it.
Small adjustments… big gains
I raised the height on the Demountable 1/2 inch (by adjusting the feet) and for the 1st time I used the spacebar on a entire page without issue.
300 miles on the C-17 Brooks Cambium (rubber) Saddle
When the rubber meets the road… of something like that? At 300 miles the Brooks Cambium feels like it did at 12. Which is good and bad in its way. Right out of the box it felt like a leather brooks after several hundred miles; the leather gets better the more miles you put in. So far the Rubber stays the same.
I write not right but left handed…
And being left handed means I’m in my right mind for thinking.
