Staying on focus…
Once you needed focus just to watch TV… no tape; no disc; no stream to rewind and play a section over. No internet to review the show on… just your one shot as it played (and perhaps months later a re-run)… I was watching “Empire” and found myself reaching for the remote before I remembered it was playing real time. Back in the day… I would give my complete attention to a show; now I can count on instant replay in some form or another.
Internet reviews… not always worth the type
I often check the internet to check my facts, and information on stuff… sometimes I am impressed until I notice “sponsored”… so I check other sites and sometimes real world customer’s aren’t so happy! But I keep hopping the sponsored site was true!!

Sometimes you come across a wonder… all the seller knew was it came over from Germany in the 1930’s… then when I saw the serial number (41993) I just smiled at my treasure!

When the water main in front of my house burst, I thought about how my yard was going to be torn up… I thought about “no water”… I thought “why me”… but the city responded quick and I thought “this is the way government should work”!

Types on shows…
I started to type… and by the end I found my frustrations stayed on the page. Another good reason to own a typewriter.

How else would one reach 750 posts without calling on Western Union… really love this typewriter… just got to get out of the habit of using the shift keys!
Just looking to laugh…
I hear folks are upset about the new Muppet show… questions about how to explain the relationship between a frog and a pig… a question I am sure was big on our minds in the 70’s! Or back to the 60’s… that moose and squirrel, or that dog Peabody and his “boy” Sherman… as a kid I did not care! I only wanted to laugh… How did we become so serious!
