Thoughts when using a Generation 3000 typewriter.

We have come a long way from communication by smoke signal, drums, flashing mirrors, telegraph… and when I pick up my 2005 Generation 3000 Typewriter I want to laugh at how modern technology makes a lesser typewriter than it did 50 years ago.  Still… by calling it the Generation 3000 I look to the future and what can… could… will be.

In 50 years will I still be using this 2005 Typewriter?
