I signed my Hermes 8 typewriter. Took its picture… then decided it had more value without the signature. So I removed it….

Some days… take longer than others…
I typed a line… then three days later I finished. The 106 year old LC Smith waited… without complaint. A computer would have been asking to update something after 3 days…

What’s in a name… just another excuse to buy a typewriter.
It why I bought “the wizard” way back when. It became a keeper because of its quality.
Just typing for the fun of it…
Letting the words flow… it improves the day… clears the mind and improves mood…
Somedays… you appreciate the internet.
I received a bargain book catalog in the mail… I decided to buy stuff like I did in the old days before the internet. Bought a movie for $3.95… and if I had researched it online I would have known it wasn’t worth the $0.01 cent (plus $3.99 shipping it would have cost on Amazon).
70 years later…
1938 was the 75th anniversary of the Gettysburg civil war battle, of the 8,000 living veterans approx. 1,800 made it to the reunion. Average age 94. In five years we will be 75 years from the D day landings. Somehow I never thought events from World War II would ever become so far back in time and in my lifetime would come the day that no one from that war would still be living. So I will simply say thank you to those still with us. I will recall and bless those now gone. And I will always honor those who stand for what they believe…
Some days… you type and re-type!
Even when you have nothing good to say… it is good to say something. It may not be well said; but it is well done to say so. As the words flow kind thoughts grow and kind thoughts are like fertilizer for the soul. A big soul and large heart and all it took was one word followed by another.
