I needed to reverse the ribbon on my Demountable… which meant lifting up and taking off the frame; I moved something a fraction of a inch and the 87 year Demountable acts like a teenager… it is quick… has a light touch… wow!!!
As I downside my stuff… it crossed my mind in fifty years would someone want my High School diploma or my Sax Playing California Raisin? For now I’m keeping both… but I know which one I would want!
Sliding my fingers across a screen to move a page… just seems “icky”. Years of removing finger print smears from my eyeglasses… links fingers and glass not in a good way. My new E-reader has no buttons… its all touch… I miss the buttons.
There are things you want to remember… but sometimes the best memories are those that come when you just drift through time… allowing the driftwood of your thoughts to go where they may!
