Just the music of the typewriter ” a capella…” which ran through my mind when I saw this 1936 Kappel V.A. portable.

Hermes Media is a player….

I associate Media and Player so much that each time I use this 1939 Hermes I think (Player) and the fact is; it is a real player.

My sears typewriter… may out live Sears the store

From 1973 to 1998 the Sears Tower was the tallest building in the world.  In 2009 it was renamed the Willis Tower.  One could say my typewriter is just a renamed Smith Corona… Under my fingertips it is a Sears!

I raise the Barr (Morse Universal)….

All it took was to lift up the ribbon just a bit… tie it in place with a twist tie and this Barr became marvelous…

My computer types remington…

Before the Hanx Writer there was the Visual Typewriter… computer software that presented you the image and sounds of a Remington portable.   Came out about 10 years ago with the last version in 2007… before its time .

Feeling robust today…

Using my Olympia Robust to talk about some WWII movies seems fitting.

Just a sitten and a typing… its a Royal day!

The Royal #1 from 1911 is a great machine to sit down in front of its keyboard and admire its view.  Then you get to type on it.
