The Royal #1 from 1911 is a great machine to sit down in front of its keyboard and admire its view. Then you get to type on it.

When the zither calls… you watch the movie…
I was about to turn off the TV and go to bed when that zither sound hit me… the 3rd man movie was being shown on TV. I was hooked by that sound. The look of the film and darn it every time I wanted to head off to sleep the zither called…
Remie Scout… best toy ever!
It’s small, well made, fun… cheap… durable… 80 years old… does it thing still… makes it about the best toy I’ve ever had.
Watched the Avengers movie… great effects…
… but at the end of the day the message beneath the visual’s cause me pain. From the start when Black Widow is sent to seek the help of Hulk… she offers trust but is backed up by an Army with guns (just in case). The movie is fantastic eye candy… and great fun if you can ignore/or never consider the reality of what some of these hero’s are doing… to save the day. The bad guy thinks of himself as a God… the good guy leader… acts like an all knowing human being… and because he saves the world… all is okay… and all will be forgiven. Good to save the word… bad not to face a downside for the method… ** two stars.
