I don’t follow any spectator sports, but I was sure happy the Cubs won. It must have had something to do with the lights. Two things many thought would not happen: Night games at Wrigley and a World Series win!

As a onetime Chicagoan, I’m glad.
Apparently this was predicted by Back to the Future II (as happening in 2015—but close enough).
