Interestingly, before I read your post today, I got out my Demountable No 2 (144617 – 1930) and did a bit of clean up, and lubrication. Then typed a page, to give it a whirl.
I do really like it”s feel – snappy and sure like it’s midwest “neighbors” the Woodstocks and R C Allen’s of Illinois.
