Typewriter tin… keeps ribbon fresh… over 40 years!

All I know about ribbon tins is they stopped being used in the 1960’s….  I wanted to see if the ribbon inside was good; it was.

  1. My typewriter life extends back to the time of ribbon tins, and I’m happy to say that I managed to retain one of them. Once the ribbon was needed they could be put to use storing little desk items. Mine found a new life storing thumbtacks, and has now been joined by about half a dozen more, acquired for the lovely graphic art you mention.
