It’s so annoying when those screws fall on the floor and just vanish.

ITs is a mystery… I’m still looking…
Use a magnet! when I work in my workshop and a “C” clip zooms off into orbit I have agood look first and then I use my telescopic magnetic stick. It has helped. Which screw is it that you have lost, I might just have a replacement,

Thanks for the offer and welcome… it was part of the typewriter that controls the up and down motion of the ribbon holder… I found a screw that will hold things together. I am sure I will find the missing one sooner or later.
