Among the many things I have strived for this year is to end each day on a upswing. No matter what the day may have been… I want to end on a positive. I think of my typewriters as a “muse” of joy. I only want positive thoughts to end up on my page. I wish for each day to end and begin with peaceful thoughts and hopes. Not a bad way to approach life.

I had wanted to follow the Lincoln Highway route…. unaware that when they renamed it Route 30 the actual route shifted(Lincoln Highway went from San Francisco to New York); (Route 30 Astoria, Oregon to Atlantic City). I decided to stick with Route 30 since I did not want to drive in New York City traffic.
