I have been on the lookout for a new saddle for a year or two for my mountain bike. My Fizik Nisene’s pigskin cover is worn through to the foam and even though it was very expensive – £45 15 years ago – I’d buy another in a shot. But, they don’t make them anymore 🙁 so, I’ll be interested to see how you get on with the rubber Brooks.

I will post as soon as I have put in enough miles to know. With the way things are going it may be awhile before I have time to do much bicycling. I have my fingers crossed. My hopes are high as well.
Ouch! I just saw the price. Maybe I’ll settle for a San Marco Rolls. On the heavy side but they come recommended for relatively long-distance outings from lots of different shaped riders.
Rob:
You saw the price for the “Limited Numbered Edition”… the regular saddle will not hit the market place until October. They should be a drop in price at that time.
