After typing 5 letters in a row with my 1956 Remington Travel-Riter, the ribbon started to snag… I switched to my 1962 Royal Futura and it’s able to handle a dozen pages in a row without issue… keeps asking for more paper!

I typed my views then checked my facts. I discovered the number in the house since 1911 is 435 not 235… My intent remains true even when the facts are wrong. Perhaps its part of being human what we mean and intend outweighs what the facts convey… What the heart means is worth more than simple facts or figures! Just a reminder that people may say things wrong but be right in intent…
I enjoy long car rides… they allow me to consider all the unimportant things that seem important to me. You can buy bowling balls that have fragrance! Cinnamon, grape, orange, bourbon, pineapple… add the fact that many glow in the dark… so many things to consider when buying a new bowling ball!

I always knew memorial day was about veterans… I was never sure about why our family went to the cemetery on Memorial Day when a veteran was not involved. Then one day I learned that before Memorial Day, in the south there was Decoration Day and before the Civil War this day was about honoring the family and not just veterans. I did not know how to ask about the before the before…
Since memorial day is linked in my mind to my oldest brother, I link all veterans with my memories of someone I never knew but love and respect always and forever.
I love snowflakes, watching them fall… looking at the designs close up… a wonder of the wonderful world. They fall as separate things, group together and we roll them into Snowmen, or pack them into snowballs, make forts and have such fun… love snowflakes. Then I learned it means something else…
