The day after the election (9 Nov 2016)… Standing up and not tearing down!

The person I voted for did not win. The people of America made a choice. As such I will support that choice and uplift and not tear down our new President.

Doing what is right and good for our country is better than stall, obstruct and delay. Lets stand tall for America not sling mud at it.

I will not risk more decay in our country by name calling or character shaming… I will instead push back with insight, kindness and a strong belief that an already great nation can become better by being a leader of change for good…

I voted (8 Nov 2016)

More was on the ballot than President… in my state I got to weigh in on matters regarding education, farming, religion and beer and wine. Voting is more than who is at the top of the food chain; it is also about the places and issues closer to home.

Creating new memories… my visit to Monument Valley

At the Monument Valley Tribal Park, you can stay at the View (with great views) and eat at the restaurant (Navajo music plays in the background). You will leave with wonderful memories of a lifetime.

Looking for good!

I walked outside and passed by a weed… then I noticed a flower and decided I would spend the day on the good! Nice thoughts, good people and nice things.

The typewriter flaw… you type you think!

Unless you want a page full mess… the typewriter forces you to think about what you type! And when you think before you say… it can cause thought… and we all know that is a road not often traveled.

Freedom of speech with thought would be great…

So much said… so little thought… combine the two and greatness will follow. Just my use of free speech.

Thinking about typewriters…

The longer I collect typewriters… I find that the quality of the typewriter is not always what I like. After all I do not make a living using a typewriter. I type because its fun; not because it is a tool of my craft.

I picked up my 1946 KMM Royal and started to type…

1903 – 2016 What my Underwood might have typed!

I imagine someone 113 years ago using my Underwood 4 to write a friend that the Wright Brother’s flew a plane. Events of World War I and II would have be pressed on paper. Man landing on the moon to the first Black President of the United States. So much could have been typed and one thinks how much more will be…

Somethings I don’t want to know…

Sometimes information is leaked and I don’t find a greater value or need to know the information contained. The purpose is not to inform but to disrupt. And the end result is I read less… and question more. Not a good thing at all!
