When I consider the future… I typed on a 103 year old typewriter and forgot how smart computers will become in 50 years; which is why my computer decided to stop communicating with my scanner. I feed it with updates and it’s mood improved!
When all is said and done… just being able to be thankful… is a good thing!
I brought out the l911 Royal 1 and time slowed while calm grew like a mushroom in the forest…
Once you needed focus just to watch TV… no tape; no disc; no stream to rewind and play a section over. No internet to review the show on… just your one shot as it played (and perhaps months later a re-run)… I was watching “Empire” and found myself reaching for the remote before I remembered it was playing real time. Back in the day… I would give my complete attention to a show; now I can count on instant replay in some form or another.
I often check the internet to check my facts, and information on stuff… sometimes I am impressed until I notice “sponsored”… so I check other sites and sometimes real world customer’s aren’t so happy! But I keep hopping the sponsored site was true!!
It was called a 9lb wonder back in its day (1938), looks great and types okay.  I got on board and rambled across a page… the other day.
As I listen to well educated/wealthy people run for President of the United States, I start to think logic is not a requirement to be taken seriously. But then I want a piece of the action… when the action should be about peace!
Sliding my fingers across a screen to move a page… just seems “icky”. Years of removing finger print smears from my eyeglasses… links fingers and glass not in a good way. My new E-reader has no buttons… its all touch… I miss the buttons.
When I compared autographs against the one on my baseball I could find zero matches with the 44 I checked on ebay… the Hank Aaron ball I’ve hung onto for 4 decades is a fake!
Well once more I am in the mood to type…
