As a stand alone the Reliance Premier is a solid machine.  If you have one just put some time between it and a classic like a Royal 10. The Reliance is that second car… the one you go to the store in and the daily commute to work car. The car gets you where you want to go… the one you don’t always admit you own. But… it does get the job done… as such it has a place in your home.
One of the sheer joys of owning a Hermes 8 are the things you can put on its shelf. I find myself going to the Hermes just to place a picture on it that I can type to.
The Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa has taught me many things. One of which is the theme for a bicycle team called “Team Rawhide Riders” a fixture on the ride since 1982… they have special lyrics for the Rawhide theme and today as I rode my bike… the lyrics kept going in my head like wheels on the road… over and over again.
