I started to type on the 1966 Studio 44 and just had to go get the 1954…
The Hermes needed a workout…
The Hermes 3000 just wanted to be used… so I pressed some keys and they needed to be pressed. About as often as you would find a snowball in “Heck”… would equal the amount of use this typewriter has gotten in the past decade. And the past is what it is out of… a long time ago on a desktop far… far away…. It belonged to someone once and wanted to be used and a muse to amuse… The Hermes needs a work out… so I typed…

Warm thoughts on a cold day…
Well its cold… (4 Degrees this morning) but I strive to keep my thoughts warm.
1927 Smith Premier 30 (Monarch Design) with twist-tie fix
Once I tied down the space-bar with a twist tie this (sold for parts) machine began to play.
I re-hook a spring…. 1906 Underwood types Perfect!
It was just a little thing… I attempted to adjust a spring it came off… I reattach at the Underwood begins to function like new!!!
