A Remington 10 was one of the first machines I purchased. It is a bit earlier than yours, without the red tab keys. It works just fine, is actually quieter than I would have expected, and is a very attractive classic machine. Unfortunately, the platen has its fair share of chips and holes. I have not done anything with it just because I really don’t think I would use the machine all that much even if I did. Nevertheless, it looks great on its shelf, and holds a special place for me. Hell, buying that typewriter taught me how to haggle with sellers!

Kennethknot:
I agree it is a classic and very attactive machine. It keeps becking me to type on it… and I can not resist.
