Just completed my 21st bicycle ride across Iowa. I thought hard about not going, I had enough training in (900 miles) but felt out of unsure. Yet once on the ride; I felt better before and after each of the 7 days (440 plus miles) than I ever did; during most of my training.
Congratulations on ride 21 ! I have yet to do my first. Maybe in 2020. Mrs. M is from Iowa and wants me to make the ride. I have not had a bike for nearly 2 years. I finally got one Saturday. I don’t think I have more than 25 miles on it yet. That will change. MI is not as flat at FL, but at least here I can ride in the summer. But in Florida I could ride all winter.
