I just had to type another day on this 117 year old. I delude myself because it seems to type better… just from the use.

Being nice. Being kind. Great traits and both are more difficult than being a complainer or being the opposite of kind and nice.
I read a book a few years ago while still in VA, The Death Of Common Sense. It is so true of today. I forget the author. I think it was written in the 1990s. At one time I though one needed to be educated to have and use common sense. Then I lived in the hills of SW VA where many did not even graduate H.S. and I found they had better common sense than many I met with degrees of all rankings.
P.S. My no. 5 just turned 100. I really love using these old Underwood typewriters. I put new feet on mine just last evening.
