Wonderful find. “…and time slips away…” is so true. I have spent many pleasant hours in my typewriter adventures.
Never spotted that ‘later’. Had to go back and re-read to make sense of that next paragraph. That slip-thingie also works when reading 🙂
(And the streamlined 5 is very sleek. Very big compared to the original Portable. A bit like the ’40 V8 to the model T…)
