You can start typing on a typewriter… comeback two days later and what you started will still be there! On line if you don’t auto-save every 20 minutes or so what you type goes away. On a typewriter the paper just gets bent a little…

Things sure have changed since ’56. Man has been to the moon. Then real space exploration stopped. We had color TV. Now we stream video on pocket devices.
I fondly remember the advent of color TV and many other things you’ve mentioned.
