  1. Thanks for the telegram! I have a 1950 Remington Super Riter typewriter that I believe is also for telegrams. All caps, a # 1 key, And the shift lever only creates +++ signs. Or it’s a “radio mill” for transcribing morse code messages at telegraph offices. What fun…….

  2. Great post. The telegram and the machine that originated it. I fondly remember all the telegrams from WU and the FCC back in the 70s when I worked building or rebuilding radio station transmitter sites. Everything was done (authorized) via telegram.
