I enjoy long car rides… they allow me to consider all the unimportant things that seem important to me. You can buy bowling balls that have fragrance! Cinnamon, grape, orange, bourbon, pineapple… add the fact that many glow in the dark… so many things to consider when buying a new bowling ball!

I was slow to embrace the concept of joining a senior bowling league… then I spoke to the young lady at the bowling alley counter… she was 37 years my junior. I have two bowling balls older than her. I asked about buying a new ball and by the time I was done I was not sure we were talking about the same game…

Use to be I just looked for the proper sized bicycle tire… now I sort through: road, touring, gravel, cruiser, training, mountain, performance, slick, urban and all sorts of tire types to decide what to ride on. One site listed a tire as “road” until it reached the width of 700 x 32 then it transformed into a gravel tire.
