I have typed over 220 letters… and all I can say is: “that’s a lot of paper!”
To get my high school diploma I had to pass a test on the U.S. constitution. I would have failed the test if I said one amendment was more American than the other… which is how it seems when 2nd Amendment and 1st Amendment folks fight over what it means to be American. But hey that’s what the lst Amendment is for!
People who respect the flag “do not burn it”… A constitutional right does not mean condoning or respecting those who act under it. It just means if we believe in the Constitution and rulings of the supreme court; then there is a proper way to change the Constitution and it is not by talking at one another but by voting on it. Just recall that many voted for prohibition… and it had to be repealed. Think, talk, discuss, debate… Just saying!
Even new I would not be impressed with its typeface… but at 104 years the typewriter itself impresses me soul!
Sent my Harris Visible off to repair (Vintage Typewrite Shoppe) and its working and feels good.
